We believe that by the strength of our common endeavor we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many, not the few. Clause 4 of the Labour Party constitution |

Hazel says, Since we took control we have been working to reverse some of the cut in services of the previous administration made up of Lib Dems and Tories who worked together to run the council. We have taken some early measures to help both the young and the elderly of our town. We plan to bring more good news about restoring the cuts that were made to our Community Centres and we are making progress towards a much needed new swimming pool for Luton. In the long term, our aim is to become a more efficient council and to cut more waste so that we can achieve even more for the people of Luton. You can read all the latest new from Luton Labour Party in our latest Labour Newsletter. It is available to be downloaded here. |
